The G2246 is a integrated Ll-ion switch-mode chargerand system power path management devices target atspace-limited portable applications. The input voltagerange with input overvoltage protection supportsunregulated power sources. The input dynamic powermanagement(Vi-DPM)prevents the charger fromcrashing incorrectly configured power sources.
The built-in dynamic power path management (DPPM)powers thesystem while simultaneously andindependently charging the battery. This featuresupply the system load at all time while monitoring thecharger current separately.
The charging current is determined by programmingISET1 or lSET2 pin, and battery regulation voltage isdetermined by vSET pin.
